A morning full of inspiration, innovation and regional experiences
On Monday 7 April, the spring event of Maastricht Heuvelland Culinair took place - an inspiring morning focusing on meeting, knowledge sharing and culinary experiences.
Guided tour at Van Oys Maastricht Retreat
We started the day with an exclusive tour of Van Oys Maastricht Retreat, a promising new destination where luxury, tranquillity and nature come together. Our members got a glimpse of the stylish interior and unique atmosphere of this recently opened venue.
MHC sign for Restaurant Create
Afterwards, we visited Restaurant Create by Guido Braeken. In a personal moment, we handed over the official MHC sign to chef Guido, making his restaurant now officially part of our network of top culinary establishments in the region.
Cyber Security presentation
Following this, we listened to an engaging presentation on Cyber Security. In a world where digital security is becoming increasingly important, participants were given valuable insights and practical tips to better protect their online environment.
Explaining trout farming at the Commanderie
We then continued to the Commanderie, where we were given an interesting explanation about the trout farm on the premises. This insight into local, sustainable fish farming dovetailed nicely with the focus on craft and regional products within our network.
Lunch at Hoeve de Bies
We ended the morning at Hoeve de Bies, where we enjoyed a tasty lunch with local produce on the terrace. With stunning views over the hilly countryside and the hospitality of the farmstead, this was the perfect final chord to a successful morning.
Maastricht Heuvelland Culinair's spring event once again offered a successful mix of deepening, connection and culinary indulgence - a morning to look back on.
