MHC EVENT

Recently, Maastricht and the Heuvelland have rapidly developed in the gastronomic field and are receiving international recognition for it. Maastricht and the Heuvelland have simultaneously become complementary. This region is home to particularly high-quality restaurants and important artisanal suppliers: the tastemakers.

The original Maastricht Culinair is therefore now making a start as Maastricht Heuvelland Culinair with a clear vision, a new logo, a new contemporary website and culinary initiatives. The ambition is to make Maastricht-Heuvelland a gastronomic hotspot. A region, which stands out internationally as a clear culinary 'capital'.

The new logo encompasses all elements. Two important symbols of gastronomy are visible alongside the star of Maastricht and the beautiful undulation of the Heuvelland region, all crowned in gold.

A magazine concept was chosen for the new website www.maastrichtheuvelland.com. Lots of information in words and images about collaborations, which generate new concepts. Both ongoing collaborations and a programme in which members register new alliances. Furthermore, each member has its own page, showing the atmosphere and quality with images.

Membership is not optional. Everything should be aimed at further developing gastronomy at the highest level, working together, learning from each other, supporting and encouraging each other. To be a member as a restaurant, the following three criteria must be met: Refined Quality, Own Signature and Complete Experience. Among suppliers, there must be Craftsmanship and High Product Quality. This will be tested with an expert sounding board group.

Today 19 June 2023 marks the launch with an event at Hoeve Carré 1711 in Wittem. An event with all members, where participants create beautiful concepts together based on assignments and where we also present ourselves to the press.
